Commons Neighborhood

Commons Playground

An one-of-a-kind neighborhood that was developed with family in mind.  The Commons is set back from Western Blvd by the neighborhood city park, Richard Ray Park.  As you drive into the neighborhood you will see walking/jogging paths that circled a recreational/community center, senior center, tennis courts, ball fields, skateboard park, ball fields, basketball courts, and schools (Commons Elementary, Commons Middle School and Northside High School).

Richard Ray Park contains winding trails and breathtaking scenery. Park also features a state-of-the-art playground with a synthetic rubber surface to help prevent injury. Park contains a shelter and gazebo, both available for rental. Restrooms located on site. This shelter holds approximately 50 people.

This neighborhood is divided into three subdivisions.  N’Side Hyatt is the oldest part of the commons, Commons@ Ashcrof has more affordable homes, and N’Side Commons has newer, bigger homes on larger lots.  Homes priced from $175,000 to $300,000.  Square footage ranged from 1251 to 3000.  Most homes built between 1988 to 2007.
